Congratulations to Lauren Rudge, Anacortes High School Student of the month for December / January in Science. Lauren is a freshman at AHS and has studied Hip Hop and Dance Workshop this year at FDW. Way to go, Lauren!
Congratulations to Bailey Wills, Anacortes High School Student of the month for December / January in CTE. Bailey is a senior at AHS who studies tap, jazz, ballet, and swing at FDW. We’re so proud of you, Bailey!
Musical Honors
Huge shout out to band students Abigail Ball and Emilie Shjarback for winning All-Northwest Wind Symphony honors! Abigail is a freshman percussionist at AHS and a senior level ballet student at Fidalgo DanceWorks. Emilie is a senior trombonist at AHS and a senior level dancer at FDW who studies tap, modern, and ballet and is a key member of our instructing staff, working as a teacher’s assistant in ballet.
