COVID-19 Update: Nov. 16, 2020
Dear FDW Families,
Hello everyone. I want to express my thanks and gratitude for the support our dance families have shown us during the last 8 months. Most of you are aware of Governor Inslee’s announcement of increased restrictions to combat rising coronavirus cases on Sunday. The new guidelines will require us to move to a Zoom only option. We have been prepared for this and are grateful for the new equipment at the studio that will allow us to continue teaching. The teachers will continue to Zoom from the studio to your students at home at their currently scheduled class time.
Today, Monday November 16th, classes will continue in hybrid format. The new guidelines go into effect tonight at midnight. Beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, November 17th, all classes will be virtual. We anticipate classes will resume in the hybrid model on Monday, December 14th, provided these restrictions are not extended.
Many of our classes are in the process of filming their dances for Winter Celebration. We are currently working out a schedule to finish filming. To follow COVID-19 guidelines, filming will take place outside. We are currently working out a filming schedule and will let each class know the time and location of their filming.
Winter Celebration will be shown at the Blue Fox Drive In on Wednesday, December 9th at 6:30pm, as planned.
Again, thank you for your continued patience and support. We have an amazing community and are so grateful for each of our students.
